A Pop of Colour - Live Bottle Painting Experience for Estée Lauder

Suzanne and I met at a previous Estée Lauder event where I was engraving for local influencers. It was such a fun event and we stayed in touch afterwards. 

I was absolutely thrilled when she reached out a year later for a Lunar New Year collaboration with Estée Lauder and Tom Ford Beauty!

Initially, Suzanne only inquired about having an Engraving Experience for her clients but I saw an opportunity to pitch the idea of live bottle painting along with engraving Chinese Blessings which I felt really fit the theme.

In Chinese culture, people always look to gift Chinese Blessings to loved ones, wishing them longevity and good health. The culture is also filled with vibrant colors which I really wanted to bring into the event as well.Luckily, Suzanne was very receptive to my ideas and I helped her create an exclusive dragon design painting to celebrate the Year of the Dragon and painted it on the samples she provided to me. On the day of the event, we placed the samples out. The pop of beautiful colors on the bottle caught the eye of many shoppers who stopped to inquire about it and take photos of the bottle! On top of the bottle paintings, we also offered Chinese Blessing add ons which were also a hit as people wanted to gift something that had special meaning to their friends. I curated a selection of meaningful Chinese Blessings like "心想事成" and "身体健康" which meant "may all your wishes come true" and "wishing you great health" for customers to choose from.

We were able to increase sales as many shoppers asked to purchase limited edition dragon painting and Chinese Blessing engravings on their purchases.
